In the drive technology the transmission of dynamic and often abruptly occurring torsional moments 
from a shaft to the hub or vice versa is a common issue. For this
profile shaft connections are in general particularly suitable. As a result of their production-related advantages, gear shaft connections according to [DIN 5480] are currently
widely used for the above-mentioned requirements. They represent the state of the art.
