Penelitian ini mengusulkan implementasi metode Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) untuk mengevaluasi fenomena hidrodinamika dalam kompleksitas rekayasa nuklir. Fokus utama studi diarahkan pada analisis risiko rekritisitas yang dipicu oleh gerakan goncangan (sloshing) pada inti reaktor yang meleleh dalam skenario kecelakaan parah. Berbeda dengan metode berbasis kisi tradisional, pendekatan Lagrangian dalam SPH memungkinkan simulasi deformasi antarmuka fluida yang ekstrem secara lebih presisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akurasi solusi numerik yang dihasilkan melalui metode SPH melampaui performa kode analisis keselamatan standar industri, SIMMER-III/IV. Peningkatan akurasi ini sangat signifikan dalam memprediksi perilaku dinamis bahan bakar nuklir cair, sehingga memberikan kontribusi krusial bagi pengembangan protokol keselamatan dan mitigasi risiko pada reaktor generasi lanjut.
